Back on the grid in Kotzebue and my first beer in a few weeks. Thought I'd share a photoblog from our last gig in the Buckland/Candle area ... A monument setting party in some historically interesting country. Not much radical topo .. mostly open and rolling tundra and tussocks. Fewer bears and wildlife in general than from what I remember from last year.
Looks just like Oklahoma.....NOT!!!
Many thanks--Mooshe and I both enjoyed these immensely. Wonderful work.
Cheers,
Henry
There's darn little I'm envious of, but I am envious of the places you get to survey!
That puts the big S in Surveyor!
Thanks,
DDSM
Thanks for posting, the pics are even more mesmerizing than usual. Ravens rule!
Have a great week! Say hi to M. B-)
And you get paid to do that !
Where is the sign-up sheet to tag along on the next job?

Thanks Christof!
My next project I wont be getting out of the helicopter bubble. Ground truthing Lidar in a grid across a very large area. I don't know if I'm looking forward to it. Hundreds of take offs and landings for single rtk position.
You guys must own Quicksilver...
