I'm looking to replace a bipod that got "misplaced". It had spring released clamps instead of thumb release.

I'm only finding the thumb release style while searching.

Can anyone recommend where I might find one??ÿ

?ÿ

Found it.. New Zealand.

Does this style last longer or does it jam up like the thumb version?

Anyone know if it's carbon fiber?

@bstrand no jamming - that's one reason I like it.

@norman-oklahoma

Yes, I searched SECOs site too. After I found the NZ site I remember the local vendor saying they thought it was from NZ.

@tim-v-pls

Have you tried calling Teena at PPI? Why not make it her problem?

I have been wanting a three-legged pod that only had set screw adjustment legs or some type of pressure clamp involved. All that oxidation buildup has to be solved too.

When I was researching bipods some years ago I found the weight difference between the aluminum and carbon-fiber models to be insignificant, something like 2 ounces if I'm remembering right.  It certainly wasn't enough to justify the cost difference.
