I've been asked to provide batymetric data in the Puget Sound. I've done this before with a total station. We used 4 guys and a hand held depth sounder. I plan on using my Leica Smart-Rover and the county Spider Network.

TIA for your suggestions.

Google Sea Floor Systems...in Califonia. We recently sold a Sonarmite unit to the contractor building the new Mississippi River Bridge in St Louis....worked really slick with his existing Trimble GPS.

Relatively inexpensive too....and...very simple.
