I'm on the hunt for an extendable camera and lamp mounted pole for viewing sewer structures. Does anyone have this type of setup and have advice? Obviously the selfie poles found at most retailers are not long or beefy enough for what I need. All I see is sewer hydrology model jobs on the horizon...not as interesting as it sounds, but I'm busy as sh*t over here. Thanks in advance.
What about either using some old 4' sections of range pole screwed together with the GoPro mounted on top or maybe a extendable level rod?
Just a thought.

I bought a SJ4000 sjcram camera from the bay for another use, with it comes with the waterproof case and a selection of mounts and bits, one of them is a 4mm thread which you can get a 4mm to 5/8th adaptor, then mount on an old detail pole.

No remote like you could purchase with a Gopro, so would need to do video and capture still??
