I've been breaking chainmen - the temporary ones don't last long, and my regular assistant was off on another job.
So as it was school holidays my daughter Alexandra decided to try giving us a hand...

Starting em' off young, eh?? She looks like she is enjoying her job. Did ya pay her well?? $20 an hour seems fair. B-) 😀 :-$
$15 is the going rate for unskilled 'round here, and yes she did get paid for her two days of good work
Oh, the stories my three girls can tell from their days.
Those days with you will make special memories.
:good:
She looks to be about the age I was when I started 46-1/2 years ago.B-)
Outstanding.

Hi to NZ, my daughter was about Alexandras age when she started surveying with me, and has a coat like that and green wellies...she and her husband are rangers at the Grand Canyon, and as I type they are somewhere in your country on their honeymoon.
I hope they get some good pictures, and make some friends to go visit!!!
Needed my youngest teenage daughter to help me on a job. Not interested until I mentioned that I was paying ... she beat me out the door.
Money talks.
If Ms Cox ? Paterson ? would like to meet our Alexandra (SWMBO) she is welcome to come surveying here too!
Cheers,
Alexandra and Derek
