Your state only required 2 years of experience to sit for the LS exam? Maybe with your PhD @ "Hard knocks" got you needed less experience?
Seriously, is that a typo?

Wendell and Forgotten Backsight
Forgotten Backsight was the one that got the last poll all together - Kudos! - and I was able to pull his last set of graphs and charts from the old board, took a while to find the post.
Anyway Wendell..I thought you may like to see what FB came up with.
This last one is real small on here but it is a listing of all the ones who contributed to the poll.
Foggy Idea
Age 25 I rec'd my license... April 30th, 1983 according to the certificate, but I turned 25 on the 13th of April. I rec'd notice that I had passed right around my birthday. Myabe 24 or 25, it was a long time ago.
If memory serves, 2 years in responsible charge was required. I worked in a very small office, and I ate, drank and slept surveying until I sat for the exam...
Holy Cow (see above post) was also licensed in two years...
I did have Civil Eng. credits from the Univ. of Ala that offset some of the required "responsible charge" at the time of licensing in TN.
