.............. with Kathy and Grant Brady from Pennsylvania.
It's interesting to meet such terrific persons in the profession that have such similar views !
The Brady Clan are also passionate about history too.
Good visit, too short, but deadlines loom.
Hope others will meet such an enjoyable pair.
Cheers,
Derek

I'll third that, I had the pleasure to meet them at the SHS show in Philli, great people.
Thanks again, Alex and Derek, for taking time from your busy schedule
to introduce us to Ontario surveying and "hobby farm" life.
Check out Graham Surveys web page for their surveying history.
And thanks Doug and John for the kind words. We certainly enjoyed our
visits with you also.
Kathy and Grant Brady.
I see no sweaters, it must've gotten up into the 40s.
Sorry, I meant to say Jim not John.

Yea, I just see a little bit of snow on the roofs there.:-)
Dave,
The temp was about 21degrees........centigrade.
Thank you Kathy and Grant-
Now you all can see why I introduce myself as "The Second Handsomest Surveyor"
Hope you both got to the Thousand Islands OK.
As to Grant's use of Celsius, it's merely a slip on my part not inoculating him against a perverse unit of measurement.
As to "no sweaters", not needed yet.
We are aware though of the upcoming sale at the Moose Jaw Branch of McMoundfinder Freres of the 2014 model of Emu Fur Lined Beaver Castor Impregnated Winter Surveying Kilts.
Dave, best get one before you endure the coldth of California's winter without !
Cheers,
Derek
