I thought it went well for surveyors. Lightsquared did well but
unless they come up with a solution I don't think it will go.
The FCC was also on the hotseat for granting a waver to them.

Thanks for posting this link. This really matters to surveyors. I've felt a little frustrated that some don't seem to care enough to get involved.

Wow! A fascinating read. It's amazing to see how Lightsquared is still trying to rewrite history. I don't understand how any rational decision makers are still pondering this issue - clearly the ATC provisions made in 2003 and 2005 would have no mateial impact on GPS; why Lightsquared is trying to claim otherwise defies reason.

If Lightsquared does get approval, for those of us with perfectly functioning precision GPS devices made before 2003, will Lightsquared be replacing our equipment?
