An ADA created cluster, my party chief really enjoyed these, all of them drilled into concrete.

North is to the right and the SW intersection corner is at the original block corner because there is a 0 lot line building.

Makes me wonder if in the future buildings will get cut-outs in the corners.

I also wondered if this is SOP everywhere now

those are fun to locate and set flush.
Do you have a countersink bit- or Just chisel out for the cap?
pretty time consuming either way.

How did your street shrink 2.21 feet?

They look like this, my guy is I think THE expert setting these; he's done so many of them. 😉

They are about 1/8" countersunk, just enough for the snow shovel to slide over them

ADA> EXCUSE ME?

YEAP!!! I'm with Larry P. on this one: client gets what the client wants-well at least for little stuff like north direction-up? sure, left? sure, right? sure, down? no problemo.....;-)

It's OK, for these there isn't any review, you just file em;-)

ADA> EXCUSE ME?

It's hard for other surveyors to understand...no review...just file them, especially when they have to follow rules set up by bureaucrats to justify their existence. I see by the pics you have not regained your possession of the dimpler. :-O

Pablo, I need the dimpler machine, I've got so many undimpled caps I'll never catch up. And of course there are all those that need dimple adjustments.

ADA> EXCUSE ME?

I guess what I really need is a redimple machine, I keep finding out that the old dimple needs to get shifted just a bit when I occupy the old dimple with my RTK rover. It's hard to erase the first dimple to get the new more accurate dimple on the cap. I know Pablo has one of those dimple eraser reinstaller machines, but he just won't lend it out. 😉

ADA> EXCUSE ME?

Patent pending. Beta group users just keep setting a new monument right alongside a perfectly good dimpler candidate. :-S

ADA> EXCUSE ME?

Hate it when that happens, when all you really need is a dimple mover:-@
