anyone seen the call for papers? who's going?
A couple of months ago I was told that this would be discussed at the NSPS meeting they are having this weekend in DC.
I hope to be there and teach.

I don't have the exact dates; but, it is sometime in mid to late July.
NSPS is meeting right now to work out the details.

I sure hope that NSPS considers the regional format again. The San Diego in July doesn't work for me, or many other east coast surveyors. There is a feeling of disenfranchisement reigning east of the Mississippi...
I'd love to visit San Diego sometime but not during my busy season, and not during the summer so long as I live on Cape Cod!
Why is the ACSM conference so intertwined with Esri user group conference?

> Why is the ACSM conference so intertwined with Esri user group conference?
Because they lost their shirt on the 2010 conference in Phoenix and need Esri to foot the bill

I'll be there with Paden's party chief.
Maybe not.

I agree with Mr. Poole.
San Diego in July??..
This was discussed at the Board of Governors meeting today and it is by no means certain that NSPS will participate in the Survey Summit in San Diego in July, 2012.

Thanks for stepping in and clarifying things Rich.
Hope you are enjoying DC.
