Michael Porter is the current president of the Oklahoma Society of Land Surveyors. I will take that as good news that he is doing well.

Well, Paducah isn't exactly a happening town, but I wouldn't call it Parts Unknown.
It appears Michael Porter is still working as a surveyor in the Engineering Department for the City of Lawton, Oklahoma. Surely he had a successful liver transplant sometime in the past 10 years.
I have fond memories of the Wilson days. Even have a picture of it in the old office somewhere.

So he's still there? Good to know... I'll pass that on. A gal I know back in Lawton who knows Paulk thought he had moved on from Paducah. He used to have a big presence on a Lawton Oklahoma facebook page but once he took a powder from Oklahoma he faded away from that.

His OK license has been listed as "inactive" for a good number of years now. I reached out several times to Deral on FB with no reply. I guess us old okies are just dust from his past. 😉 I don't hold it against him, I guess he's just busy with other things, but I do wish he'd drop a "howdy" every now and again.
