Anyone know what happened to the google earth functions on the ribbon insert tab? I have it in 2012, but not in 2013. I loved how easy it was to import background images and now it's a headache to down save into 2012 to get it done. Maybe there's an add on out there?? Not usually an Autodesk basher, but.... Should I expect similar "upgrades" when I move to 2015?

Use the "geolocation" tab on the ribbon. You will need a Autodesk 360 account, but it's free for a basic membership...

Exportkml left after 2012 and came back in 2015. All releases since dropped the option.

I use to export as shp file and use this website to convert to kmz, but I am good with 2015 now.

Perhaps they have recently resolved their differences. Last year their attorneys weren't even speaking to each other...

Civil 3D 2014 does not have the Google option.

I lost my ability to print a scene from Google Earth when I upgraded to Pro.

Everything on screen says it is sending the data to the right printer and only a blank sheet of paper is produced.
