Anyone fluent in TBC? I've been trying to create my own line and point codes for field to finish. (Gawd, I miss Eagle Point!) I managed to create a feature definition library that pretty much covered all my needs, including my layering conventions. But when I tried to assign a new layer to a new point code I added, TBC would appear to create the new layer but then it didn't "stick" and so wasn't available since it didn't actually get created. Bangin' my head against the wall here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Running TBC V3.90)

Did you process feature codes in TBC? It should create the layers at that time. I'll look at it tomorrow for you and re-post.

Edit - Now that I think about it, it's entirely possible that you need to set up all of your layers in TBC and save them to a template. Like I said will test tomorrow and give you a definite answer.

Using the attached FXL and processing features in TBC 3.90 produced the defined layers, colors, etc. At first I coded the BL code incorrectly in my test, but once I put it in right it worked fine (usage of control codes in Access is feature code space control code, so in this case EP BL).

The extension had to be changed from FXL to TXT before I could attach it; just save it and change it back to FXL.
