We're trying to update TBC.

Previous updates have pretty much run from the "Trimble Business Center Check for Updates" routine from within TBC.

But the last couple of days the routine loads up Trimble's TBC homepage and asks for information similar to when requesting a demo. After entering info, nothing happens.

Anyone else having trouble with updates? How about trouble just downloading the TBC demo?

I was unable to access the downloads area using Internet Explorer 11, had to use Google Chrome. Once I did so had no problems.

I would recommend downloading and archiving each update before installing the update on a workstation. TBC is a bit touchy regarding updates. Plus the update process is painfully slow.

Explorer 11 on both systems we've attempted updates. Will try on a system with an older browser. Thanks.

UPDATE: Chrome did the trick.

Download then install is what we typically do. Are you aware of trouble with downloading TBC updates/demos through Explorer 11? Thanks.

Apparently a lot of Trimble's "new and improved" web sites don't like IE... the only reason I even figured it out was that my dealer rep was here for a visit, he told me to use Chrome. Firefox might work as well.

I downloaded with Firefox three times before it worked. I don't quite understand why an update has to be so huge:pissed:
