I am currently using the Tesla controller with my DS Robot. I operate the robot with long range bluetooth being good up to 300m or so. I was wondering if there are other controllers that can be used with the DS by means of long range bluetooth. I was looking at the fc-500 which is more compact and has decent specs.

- We currently have a few of the FC-500s and they work pretty well, I personally use one in the field once or twice a week when I get out to the field and have no problems. We also have a TSC3 Ranger with a Parani Bluetooth Adapter plugged into the serial port (Chief likes his full keyboard) and that has been bulletproof at even up to 1200'. Not sure what other collectors it'll work with but worth looking into as they aren't that expensive. Good Luck!

We have sokkia's which are basically the same gun we have gotten up to 1800' of range out of the RC-PR 4 and 5.
