For any of you who have experience in moving from Yellow to Green or vice versa:

How do you rate the office software for each; TBC vs LGO?

I have many years of experience with Yellow.

I ran SKI, SKI-Pro, and LGO from 1991 - 2003, and when I had to switch to TGO I was not a happy camper, I thought there were things LGO did much better. I haven't seen the green since then but I'm very happy with TBC 3.51. My only complaint is that they could do a better job with total station data, especially when it comes to finding and fixing errors. But for processing static and managing RTK data I think it's great; I just processed two very large control networks in it and it was a snap.

I used Ski and Ski-pro from 1997-2000 and then switched to TGO until 2011.
Strictly for vector resolution. Always used StarNet for adjustments and LDT for field to finish and everything else.

I then used LGO for about a year and a half. Vector resolution some but mostly for adjustments. During that time we used Carlson for drawing prep.

Since then TBC and Spectra Precision Survey Office (a clone of TBC), but very little. Mostly export RTK vectors to StarNet for adjustments and use C3d for drawing.

As far as going from TBC to LGO goes I'd predict you have little trouble figuring out how to do vector resolutions. The 2 are quite similar.

I found LGO sometimes refuse to recalculate automatically and there is not "run" button to press. Exiting the program and restarting usually fixed that, but it was a big problem.
