This is a Spectra Survey Office question but I think the software is almost identical to Trimble Business Center. I tried to contact Spectra support but I think they just leave there phone off the hook or just give a disconnected number on their website. I am trying the bring in total station data to SPSO and when I import my .survey file it asks for a scale factor this is a very small site 1.5 acres so I set my scale at 1. when I look at my raw data and inverse in the DC it seems like SPSO is scaling up by about .5' in 100' 1.004 +/- the raw data in SPSO matches the DC but I am at a loos where the scaling is coming from.

How do you have your SPSO projection/coordinate system set up? Did you set up your project as "Scale Only", or are you working in State Plane/LDP/etc. coordinate system?

It is set as US Feet and default coordinate system which looks like a scale only no shifts or scale other than 1 applied.
