Hello,

I am looking at trying to create some in house videos for training our crews and office personnel. I would like to be able to capture a video from my computer screen and save it, along with audio to create an *.mp4 video file.

I there a low cost or free program that will allow me to do this? I am concerned about audio and video quality, so that is important to me.

Thanks in advance,
Jimmy

I've been told SnagIt is good, you may want to look into it. It's about $50.

I think you want Snagit's stronger video brother Camtasia. Camtasia is what I use and like

Camtasia Studio is $300 but worth every penny. https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html

I use 'My Screen Recorder Pro 4.0'. Seems just fine to me.

Then I use 'Vegas Pro' to cut, splice, render, title...

Snagit / Camtasia. Excellent products as others said.
My Samsung Note 3 camera has such a feature built in as one of its Modes.
That could be an option. They're probably pretty cheap over there.

DVDfab9 will rip videos from your phone, convert, copy and create and burn to DVD and they have a free download or you can buy the pro version.

I've been using Camtasia on my videos. It works pretty well. As I get deeper into video editing I'm finding there are more things I'd like to be able to do, but in reality for a training video, it's enough.
