Had anyone used PC Mover Pro to transfer software to a newer operating system? They say it will transfer all, or most, of your programs, files, etc to a new computer.
The biggest upgrade dread for me is re-installing all of my programs. But maybe it is time to leave some old baggage, too, and do it the old fashioned way, take a week or two.

Better to leave the baggage behind. Setup the new machine close to your existing computer and load software on the new machine while you work on the existing computer. This allows you to quickly check the old machine for key settings as needed and still get some work done.
