Hi,
I'm new here and hoping someone can help me out. I have been holding on to an old windows 98 machine running pacsoft civilmaster 96-2 (dos). I need to update to a newer PC (Win 7 32bit) I have read around that there is a newer version 99-1.3 that can run on newer computers. Does any one have this version or compatible version that I could download? Any help in the right direction would be grateful.

I have dosbox running on a new windows 8.1 machine
it's running my old dos programs perfectly.
I also run it on Linux with no issues.

Thank you for the feedback. I did try dosbox but got an error every time I ran it. Any tips on making it work?
Sorry I haven't used packsoft
but setting some startup config might help.
I created 2 folders on my main drive a-drive & c-drive
and some path setting for the startup of dosbox
here is a paste from Linux ( windows should be similar )
mount a /mnt/home/a-drive
mount c /mnt/home/c-drive
path= C:;Z:;Z:dos
C:
the dosbox config file is documented
I am getting an error once i run pacsoft EXO386.exe it opens and says 'error 56 in 100'
any ideas ? or if anyone has the install files for pacsoft 99 - i would gladly pay for it
did you ever get a hold of the pacsoft software...I have the 99-1.3a disc but it wont read and I need the files off the disk badly
