A friend, who used to be a regular on POB and Beer Leg had this on his facebook wall today.

Pretty cool way to use what we already have. Ton's of maps and a way to plot in large scale on them.

He's finally retired from the Military and doing well by all accounts. He is busy doing bike rides for Veterans and other military related support things.

I've got 2 topo maps of the area I grew up in from the 70s, that have nature scenes (the beach) painted on them. Framed and hanging on my wall.

My mom found them at a garage sale, about 12 years ago.
