by "edit codes" do you mean the predefined code list, or an individual code subsequent to taking a shot with the incorrect code?

the answer to both is yes, the first one being pretty self evident, the second option involves going into listing points, selecting the one you want to change, hitting the "edit" tab and there will be a tab within there to change the code.

Yes, points from my codes list, in my code list I have code "STEP" I would like to add to it STEP/STONE, for example, but I can't looks to me that I have to have code for every material steps can be built from.?ÿ

Lines I have trouble with that too. How you put BEG or END when I can't edit/add to the predefined codes

as you can see my code step is blue. When I press on it,?ÿ goes to code list to select deferent code.

Think you have to work with second window/code as attributes for beg end curve.... I just turned predefined off on my cs15. You have a full keybord.....set second attributes for beg end curve and this box reset to empty after storing point. By predefined codelist off you do not have lines in the map on the screen, but that is difficult to read in bright light....

haven't run the 15 in a few years, but there's a toggle in the points menu where it says something line "points only" or "enable lines".?ÿ if you enable lines, it will add a dropdown to your measure screen that allows you to begin lines/3 point curves/splines/end lines/close lines.?ÿ no special coding necessary.?ÿ i don't remember if the ascii dump will add the linework codes or not, one reason i only ever import raw data into CAD, all the linework coding is included.
