Lets make a list that people can refer to when they need programs for their HP calculators. I recently needed them for the HP 35 and founf D'Zign software and HP33Surveyor.com. Any others? Are they any good?

Id also like to say that John Butcher with HP33Surveyor.com has wonderful customer service and helped me troubleshoot a mistake on my end on a busy holiday weekend.

I wrote a full survey program based loosely upon d'zign, as well as something I bought from eBay, and rewriting my 48 programs.

What I found for most of them is that they primarily use mathematical units, rather than survey units (x,y vs n,e and vectors in Hd, D.dddd vs d.mm.ss, hd)

I am hesitant to release my program, because it IS partly based on other people's work, even if I did rewrite it, and frankly, there is no benefit to me.

I DID release HMS+, HMS-, r->p, P->r and bearing to azimuth programs on here you can easily find with a search. Other than that, a triangle solver is the only thing else you would really need for an exam.

If there is something specific you need, or if you have programming questions, drop me a line, and I would be happy to help you out. (Hp33, 35, or 48...... Or even excel)

I have tried all of the above programs for the HP35S. They all fail in comparison to those written by Ted Madson. His cogo routines store up to 200 points. They work much like a data controller. Also has everything you need to take the NCEES exams.

See LSS-seminars.com select link near top for HP35S calculator. When you take his seminar for the FS or PS NCEES exam review, it includes the programmed calculator and fully explains on how to use it in the course.

But he does not release the source code. Ted programs the HP35S for you.

This is what I used about 8-10 years ago. No complaints here. I just wished I didn't let my battery die and erase the program that took me 8 hours to punch in
