When I am in a C3D dwg and decide to open another dwg that I had opened previously, I would expect to be able to view a list of recently opened dwg files. But I dont see that. Is there some way to see these files that I am not aware of?

Click on that little box in the upper left hand corner of the screen. Should be there..

You can right click on the C3D icon (in the Taskbar) to view all recently open drawings. or if you are already in C3D you can go to the upper left, click on the icon.

My experience is not exactly the same as jonny jiu jitsu's, because I don't get the history by right-clicking the icon in the taskbar. However, I get a list of nine recent documents when I click the C3D icon in the upper left corner, after the program is started and Drawing 1 is in place. This is C3D 2014.

Cheers,
Henry

History doesn't work on mine either (2014).

I rebooted the machine before leaving the office yesterday. For today's session of work, I have 1.dwg open. I click the upper left C3D button and it shows 1.dwg as all the previously opened dwgs. I then open a couple of more dwgs, 2.dwg and 3.dwg. Then I click the upper left button and it shows 1.dwg, 2.dwg, and 3.dwg. It seems that it only shows the previously opened dwg back to the last reboot(?) If that's the case, it isn't terribly handy.

ok, figured it out. once the upper right is clicked, and the fly out is opened up, there is a couple of small icons above NEW, OPEN, SAVE, ETC., click on them and find that one sets to Recent Documents and the other as Open Documents. Mine was set to Open Documents. Thanks for the help.

When you hit open there should be a history option on the left hand bar.
