I'm looking to generate a lot of points based on a defined c/l and profile. I've had success generating from the centerline "offset point entry" function, but the "profile to points" seems better . . IF I could get the Vertical offset to profile working. I have a fixed horizontal and vertical offset from c/l but for some reason the routine doesn't use the vertical offset in the calcs, it just uses the c/l elevation on the offset points. Can anyone suggest a mistake I'm making or have other recommendations. I'm using Carlson Survey 2011 in AutoCAD Map 2008.
Edit . . I realize now that it was applying the vertical offset to all points, including the c/l and not just the offsets, so all I needed to do was uncheck "create points at centerline" and it works fine.

Go to Centerline pulldown , Station Polyline/Centerline .
Pick how your going to represent the center line there is 4 choices .
Pick how your going to set Elevations 3 choices
Go to bottom there is a box (Locate Offset Points )
Then offset setup pick options .
Works like a champ for me .
