I usually have been (successfully for years now) downloading the ??large-ish? GeoTiff files for my land surveying business uses from this site:
http://gisdb.uits.indiana.edu/singlefile/map/m10000.html
But, my old Win 7 laptop crashed recently, and my new Win11 machine is not downloading the files like before.
I really do not get any error messages, per se.?ÿ When I click on the file I want to download, the edge r chrome browsers just open a new tab with the filename path and nothing else happens.
Is there a better site I should be going to?
Is there some Win11 action that I am missing?
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.
try to right click on file and chose "save linked content as", then chose location. Just a thought.
after futher review, looks like webiste has path problems.
Might just be coincidental that they are having trouble at the same time I had to upgrade my pc.
Here is a sample of what I see in a?ÿ new tab when I click a file to download.?ÿ I wish there were some right click trick...
PATH_INFO=/state/2016/geotiff/statewide/in2016_02201655_12.zip
Also, tried the right click save as trick and get this:
I may be missing something here but have you tried unzipping that zipped folder first?

hope this helps.
My old Land Development Desktop(LDD Autocad) wouldn't accept SID files anymore from the State Library. I assumed the site had "upgraded" to a new version of SID. I started using Google Earth images instead. They are better quality, and several years of old imagery are available. Having to insert them at the right scale (I kind of figured out) and translating them to whatever grid I want takes a little time, but I haven't looked back. Google Earth seems to have more competent people running their site than most Government sites.
@ozzy84 thanks, that's not it either, I made sure I was logged in.?ÿ Thanks though!?ÿ Are you able to download a TIF image file??ÿ They are usually ~95MB.
Maybe try temporarily disabling you pop up blocker.?ÿ
Tried that too, no luck.?ÿ I wonder if any of you are able to download from the site??ÿ The ZIP files are large (~95MB).?ÿ Here is an example of where I usually click with success, usually:

If your problem started today it might be because Amazon web services has a server down that is affecting their east coast region. Perhaps the website was using this server.
@skeeter1996 this looks promising, if I only had the correct modules enabled...
