I have my Promark 3 lent out to a friend for some Mobile Mapping who had a couple issues today that appear to have corrupted the files.

After a low power warning, he thinks he may have powered off without ending logging and or ending the job (post-processed).

The files are all there B,D,E and there are the correct number. The time span in Mobile Mapper Office also shows all the time spans correctly, but for one of the middle files, the points do not show.

Anyone have this happen? Can the files be remedied?

Thanks in advance,

Matt

🙁

Power problems have near always led to corrupted files and problems in any mode on my Promark3s.

I do not know how to fix the files.

🙁

Try converting to RINEX (using the RINEX Tool). You should be able to look at the resulting files and figure out which occupations might be available.

Of course, you may find that even the RINEX tool won't convert the files.

I would be happy to take a look at the files for you.

Mark
