Any body have any ideas on a good HP Plotter I can find used? Should I go color?
I have a great HP Designjet 110plus nr that I'd gladly sell you. I have had it about 5 years and probably ran less then 2 rolls of paper through it. They are about $1850 new and I'd sell you mine for $1000. I primarily do construction staking so I really don't have a need for the plotter. you can email me at [email protected]
I have a HP DesignJet 755CM that I will give away to anybody willing to come pick it up. It's way to bulky and time consuming for me to package it up and ship it. The price is right if you want to make the trip.

I have one of these 110+ plotters and it is a good little plotter. Have not had any problems with it either. You would need about 3.5' x 2.0' of table or counter space for it but you can buy an optional rolling stand for it. Works with single sheet paper or 24" width rolls.
Supplies are not overly expensive but it is an HP...
Live a little and get color(I don't think you have a choice)
Let's see... cheap and effective?
Pencil, and protractor, and scale?
(Sorry, just kidding you!)

Some mylar, koh-i-nor pens and india ink is cheap and permanent.
