Font bug is delaying a final map recordation.
State office requires a shadow font. using shx file type.
screen capture - the shadow font is the above a tahoma font.
how do I get this to appear correctly?
?ÿ
they actually have that as a rule??/?ÿ the type of font??ÿ?ÿ I thought those days were long gone.?ÿ
State office requires a shadow font.
I find this funny, because I use a shadow font on just about every Record of Survey I file, and every time I do the County Surveyors sends it back advising me not to use a shadow font because some County Recorders don't think they reproduce well and will reject maps that use them.?ÿ ?ÿ*Our* County Recorder doesn't do that, but the CS puts that note on my map every time.?ÿ And every time I send it back with the shadow font in place.?ÿ It appears to be a little game that we play.
update: Carlson support was unable to solve the issue as well.
@jim-frame?ÿ?ÿ?ÿ seems like the details like this change every couple yrs., depending on which state staffer gets promoted/demoted as the Land Court map checker?ÿ 🙂 ?ÿ

I would ask the State Office to explain why, what font I use, has anything to do with surveying...
I had a reviewer, once, tell me that I needed to change my boarder, he didn't like it. I told him to show me, in the regulations, where it said that I need to comply with things he didn't like...

I have similar problems, with fonts, in Carlson 2020. Past versions worked fine; wish they'd go back and figure out what they were doing right...
