Am I the only one who's run into this??

When trying to use the PDD command in Carlson Survey 2021 w/Embedded Autocad I consistently see the function change the values I enter for distance by one or 2 hundredths of a foot. It's not much, but this is surveying people, so accuracy is everything! Plus, it ends up getting me into trouble with clients sometimes when the bearings and distances on my survey do not match what is in the legal description. What am I doing wrong? Or is this a bug in the software that needs to be fixed?

I've never actually used Calson, but it sounds to me like you've somehow turned on a scale factor.

So .... I recently upgraded to 2022 from 2020. I thought I had migrated all of my setting to my 2022 version. Today I started a new job in 2022. As I was entering bearings and distances from an old map I noticed that the annotated distances along the line were slightly off from what I had entered. At first I thought I had entered a distance incorrectly, so I backed up and entered it again. But I still had the same issue. I deleted my file and started from scratch making sure I checked all of my settings.

I entered a distance of 373.04' but my annotated distance was showing 372.93'. WTH? I inversed between the two points and the calculated distance matched my input. WTH again?

I checked my Annotative Defaults for Distance. Low and behold it was set to 'Geodetic at Mean Elevation'. I changed it to Grid and annotated my line again and Bam! The annotation matched my data entry.
