I just received an update, can I save my customized toolbar before I install the update?

I believe so... check your documentation.... mine saved last time I updated but that was quite awhile ago.

Double check with your software sales folks, they've had quicker than quick answers for me in the past!!

I'm not the foremost expert when it comes to CUI/CUIX changes (I'll take the old MNU files any day) and CUIX transfers but it should be possible to save customized toolbars.

At the Command: prompt, type CUI to bring open the Custom User Interface dialog box. Per the instructional notes, you should be able to drag-n-drop customizations in the main application into a new CUIX file, save it, and then open those customizations after installing any updates:


Anything beyond this process and I would defer to the Carlson Technical Support Staff.
