Hi Folks,
Stuck in the office today with rain and trying to do an area cutoff with the slide method on a Carlson Surveyor2. I'm trying to cut 5 acres out of 15 with the road being a continuous arc. No problem drawing the polyline with the curve but the program is saying that the line I want to slide must join a straight line.
I hope I'm just missing something.

I can't help with Carlson specifically but when I've run into this sort of thing I just manually draw in the polygon that I want to cut out and then slide the grips along the boundary until I get the size that I want.?ÿ Yeah, this is probably the crude way of doing it but it works.
