Long story ahead, any help is appreciated.?ÿ Specific questions at the bottom.

?ÿ

At our firm, we have around 50 computers running either Carlson Surveyor with Intellicad 2016 or 2017 (as in some people are running one and some people are running the other).?ÿ Some of those licenses are expiring and I'm trying to upgrade to 2018.?ÿ The problem is that we run a fair amount of custom written lisp routines, custom blocks, etc.?ÿ The guy that was in charge of all of this is no longer with us due to unfortunate circumstances and he never really left any documentation on how he was making the whole system work.?ÿ I've got basically until the end of the week to get all these computers upgraded to 2018 with all of our previous settings / lisp routines / field book codes, etc so that our more computer challenged drafters can continue to work without calling me for tech support every time they open a new job.?ÿ Whew.

?ÿ

The real questions.

1) I have two different lisp routine files that need to be loaded for every job.?ÿ How can I set it up in carlson so that those automatically load without having to appload every single time you open a new drawing?

?ÿ

2) Is there any way to possibly export my settings such as which field book codes file to use, quick keys, etc from one of our existing 2017/2016 computers and then use that as a base point after I install 2018 on these other computers.

Thank you for any help in advance.

?ÿ

-Sincerely,

"I didn't know I was the Carlson guy until we had an unexpected death and I was deemed the best at googling to figure it out"

maintenance expires not the license, yes you can easily transfer all your setting to the new install. Any LSP routines can be made to automatically load each time you start Carlson.

Through much trial and error, asking several managers for help, and crashing the rest of the office's CAD for about ten minutes I was able to get everything working as I wanted.?ÿ I guess that's the problem with running Frankenstein software.

@thesylo, I realize this post is 3 years old, but it sounds like you figured out how to autoload lisp routines in Carlson.?ÿ The company I work for is now switching to Carlson from Civil 3D and I'm not seeing a lot of "useful" info regarding the steps to getting said lisp routines to autoload, or even load for that matter.?ÿ Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
