Aloha,
I have few more basic questions...which failed to find in the user guide after extensive search...
1. Can I change the text style for the Points with its elev. and description?
2. When the title block with borders placed in the paper space, how do I edit the title block data. Do I delete and reinsert new title block with new text?
3. What about the fonts for the title block and also the scale bar can these be changed, so the page has font of my choice?
Thank you so much!
p.s. Coady, you probably will be first one to read this:-D
1.) yes.
type ST (for STYLE) find PTXT and change the font to whatever you like.
It uses txt.shx, I like simplex.shx
2.) try to EXPLODE the title block, can you edit it now?
3.) yes, definitely.
🙂
I believe the points will come in with whatever style text you have set current.

Height, yes, style, no.
At least on my machine. It could be a setting though.

If you happen to use the default "Attribute" option for points, you can customize the various attribute layouts (and get example alternatives) at Carlson knowledgebase article 779:

Depending on the title block, you might try the attribute edit command (I typically key-in DDATTE and then select the block I want to edit).

Yes, all aspects of the blocks used by the software can be changed.
1. From the Windows Start button, choose Run.
2. In the Run dialog box, type %AppData% (not case-sensitive) and click OK. The previous action should short-cut you to the location on your computer where individual application data resides.
3. Locate the Carlson Software folder in this folder and "drill-down" to the SUP "support" folder for your particular Carlson Software product.
4. Locate the desired block and edit to your particular preferences.
Be aware, however, that when a block is defined in (inserted into) a drawing, the drawing will continue to use that block in its originally inserted form until it is re-defined in the drawing with the updated version.

Aloha, RFB:
I was in "STYLE" box about 50 times!! Didn't know I have to change PTXT to font of my choice! That worked!!
It appears like I don't have to explode the title block. I can edit the title block data from the "property" tab.
Thank you so much for the help!

Aloha, Ladd:
Thanks for the knowledge base link. I downloaded the two zip folders and will explore them per the instruction.
DDATTE command is pretty handy to modify the attribute of the Title Block.
Thank you so much! Aloha
