Don't look like the Acer is 64 bit, but this Dell is, how 'bout it?

May not be 64 bit, how about this Dell XPS 8700?
JT,
Looks adequate. AutoCAD 2015 is real picky about Graphics Cards, so you might check here:

Dave
The Acer is probably 64 bit, or someone is wasting a lot of 'RAM'.

If you have a server or file server, swap out the drive for a SSD. You really only need a 256 gb (a 128 would just make it). Or keep the 2 TB drive and make it a second with the SSD as the OS / primary drive.
I am waiting for my new sweetie:
Xeon 3.7 ghz 15 mb cache (6 core, 12 thread)
64 gb registered 1867
nvidia quadro K4000 (3gb gddr5)
500 gb Samsung Evo SSD
standard bells and or whistles - case, cooling, DVDr, usb, blah blah blah
Win7 Pro 64
CAD, Point Cloud and mobile lidar processing.
I would send you over to Xi, but they take a bit of time.
I GOT ME A DELL, DUDE!
Well, I dropped the hammer on the Dell, so I got me a DELL, DUDE! or at least got it ordered. The graphics card isn't shown as a recommended graphics card on the Acad website, but I think it will be OK, and if not, I'll get one that is. I read where some others are using it in the autodesk forum threads.
I think I'll like the 256gb solid state drive for the primary.
I hope my current machine will hold up until I get everything loaded and installed.
Thanks for the comments, etc. JT
