I am running Carlson 2015, with AutoCad, and sometimes when I hit the save or qsave, I get a 'drawing file is write protected' message. Which it isn't. Is this a bug anyone else has figured out?
The message I sometimes get before the 'write protected' message is this. (It just happened again):

I am not familiar with the two software you are using in combination, however if you have the file open in autoCAD it wile be write protected so that you can't change it with another application, I would assume.
If you close out one of the programs the other should have no trouble.
If it is something else, you can always take ownership of the file (essentially CHMODing the file).
Is this drawing saved on your machine or on another machine on a network? I've had issues where the network skipped and the locked stayed on even though the drawing was closed. I usually save it locally and copy it over to the server later.
