I frequently am asked for a lot closure report. I use Carlson 2012. Is there a easy way to get a quick lot closure report?

Under the SURVEY pull down, select "MAP CHECK". Use autoannotate to label a closed poly of your lot, the select MAP CHECK, then pick the poly and one of the annotation text strings. You should get a real nice closure report. You can save a txt file for each lot, too.

You can also create a "*.lot" file with your calculated boundary corners. Be sure to check the "Angle-Distance Percision" check box

Under survey menu, I use enter deed descritpion. Then open it in process deed file.
Pick you file and print report.

This gives a good report using your map data and not from inversing from point to point.

Thank you all for the suggestions.
i used the autoannotate but mine is set up to use some line table items, which the map check didn't like. But I got it figured out. Way easier than having to make a lot file.
