Is there anyway to embed a raster image into the .dwg file? Searched high and low and it looks like the next best thing to do is have the image in the same folder as the .dwg and not have a path specified for the image. If anybody has a better suggestion I'm all ears! Carlson 2015 w/Intellicad 8.0

TIA,

Doug

It's under the Draw menu

I think it's:

Draw--> Image--> Raster Image

You are correct, BUT that attaches the image, it does not embed the image. You send that drawing out without the image file and all the client will see it image frame. I do not think Intellicad has the equivalent of the "bind" option.

Windows clipping utility creates a png that will become part of the drawing
