One more suggestion. Are there any reproduction companies in your area? The ones I've known usually have top notch equipment, and they may be able to plot out your drawing.
I've had issued with DWG to PDF and transparency with intellicad.. Try adobe or search for CUTE PDF writer (freeware) and download
Also, make sure you change the transparency of the Layer, NOT the image. Seems to make a difference.
With a Brother printer comes software package Nuance Paper Port that acts as a printer to create pdf and other tools found in Paint and Irfanview that are very useful.
When the media size exceeds 11x17 I sent them out to a print shop.
Bump TTT.
I am having the exact same issue as the OP.
I attached images via "IMAGE" command and adjusted the fade and scaled them. Not plotting.
However, all year long when I do a "GEOTIFF" it works like a charm.
I have an e-mail in to tech support.
EDIT:
Update. If I change the FADE setting from 50 back to 0 it plots okayÛ?

Had this issue again today. It does seem to be memory issue. The tech guy at Carlson took over my screen and installed an app called "snipit". So, you get the image in there, then snip part of it out that you need and save it. Then insert the snipped jpeg and delete the georeferenced image. Works like a charm and now shows up in pdf print. The georeferenced image apparently can't be resized with a desirable result not because of pixel size but because of the data attached to georeference it (I tried resizing in paint program but didn't work).

Thanks D. I just shared your experience with tech support via e-mail. We are close. It looks like I am okay if I leave the image fade setting at 0. I prefer 50 though. Maybe they will provide me with similar help.
Well, went to print a survey w/an aerial again today and had issues. Again, I don't do many of these b/c they are a PITA! Anyhow, now the image prints fine, but none of my linework prints?! If I freeze the layer the image is on, all the linework prints. I'm using Carlson w/Intellicad 2016. Any ideas?!
Printing issues??? Doesn't surprise me. I'm using Carlson 2017 intellicad and find it almost impossible to work with images at all. I've been in touch with Carlson and everything they had me try was no help. I still need my 2009 autocad whenever i need to work with images. Kind of a shame.
I agree, I've been more disappointed with Carlson than happy with them...
That is weird. I use images all the time. Mostly google. Two things come to mind... Image file size will crash the plotter and draw order. I had this problem with my older plotter not able to handle big image files. Sometimes I have to put the image in the background.
