i have a problem that in this particualr dwg, I am trying to pick an item in Model space (while in the Layout mode) and the object will not be picked!?ÿ ?ÿEven if it's drawn in Model space while in the Layout mode of paper space.

Any clues??ÿ I have saved the dwg under a new name and re-started without effect.

I resolved this issue by creating a new drawing and "inserting" the old drawing.?ÿ No problems now.
Welcome back to the forum, after having gone missing for a while.
Did you try shutting the program down and then re-starting it??ÿ (rule #1 for attempting to fix all computer related issues)
I call it the Microsoft fix.
If shutting down the program and rebooting doesn't help the next thing to try is running AUDIT on the drawing if it will open, RECOVER if it won't.?ÿ
@norman-oklahoma we run audit several times, as sometimes the problem is not detected, or all of them are not, on the first iteration

@foggyidea You can also WBLOCK an entire drawing to remedy those little gremlins that I think are generated by AutoDesk to make the iCAD less useful.
