I'm running Carlson Survey 2011 with embedded AutoCAD. Started it up this morning and the command line is gone. Been digging through the help menus but can't find how to turn the darn thing back on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Carlson Knowledgebase article 28 should work:

If you're unsure which toggle is the Dynamic Input toggle, I've highlighted it below:
you can also just type "commandline". You won't see what you are typing but after you hit enter, it will pop back on.
Commandline worked. Thanks for all the help! Would have posted thanks earlier, but just got back in from the field.

Hey, I just had to re install Carlson. My Hard windows were corrupted, my motherboard had a bad LAN, and the extra LAN board went out.
Now, anywhere I place the mouse, it acts like I have selected it, or sort of acts like it.
Also, I am trying to re install EVERYTHING. (FUN) As an aside note, I used Open Suse to backup all my files, to another hard drive, and I don't think anything was lost.... and this hard drive is all cleaned up now... (Good!)
Anyway, how do I get it to "Act normal" as to moving the mouse around?
Thanks!
Nate

Have you examined your "Snap" settings (F9)? Right-clicking on the Snap icon and choosing Settings may shed some light on the problem:
If not, a call to the Carlson Technical Support staff would likely yield a solution.
I called Tech Support, and there was a long word, I typed into the command line, and selected option 2. (It was on 3) Option 1, makes it so you cannot see what you have selected, whatever this setting is.
Anyway, I have most of my screen colors back, and wow, I think I am able to do stuff again!
