Any idea why when I issue the command CL2PLINE, the routine attempts to store coordinate points? Somehow it is pulling a setting from some other routine? Luckily point protect is turned on so I don't trash my coordinate file. I have to hold the escape key down and cancel the creation of dozens of points.
I'd love to be able to stop having to do this....Ladd?

From what I was told:
"The CL2PLINE routine does not require a CRD unless you have the option on in the Draw Centerline dialog to Label Centerline, and your Label Centerline settings have the options on for Locate Points."
I tested this with both Carlson 2015 and Carlson 2016. I hope this information helps.

Do you have Point Numbers unchecked under point defaults? That might do the trick.
Thanks guys, it seems to be drawing specific. I think I will chalk it up to being a mystery and move on with a new drawing.
