Is anyone still having trouble with field to finish in 2018 i cannot get mine to work with my code table from 2017. Another thing is I don't know if i changed something but when I highlight something and hit delete it used to delete now it just starts the delete command and you have to re highlight.
I don't use Carlson, but your second question sounds like you have your pickfirst variable turned off.?ÿ You don't say what CAD engine you use, but in regular Autocad you can type pickfirst?ÿand set it to 1 (on).?ÿ Alternatively you can go to your options, Selection tab, under Selection modes there is a checkbox for Noun/verb selection. Make sure that is checked.
I am running intellicad 8.3 I will try your suggestion when I get back to the office. Thank you
Make sure you're up to date on the build, I had issues when first installed, but the latest update cleared up the problems. I currently am running?ÿ build 171115 on Intellicad 8.3 64bit?ÿ no problems.
I have lost most of my paper sizes for my hp500 in the Carlson intellicad. ?ÿ?ÿ I'm sure that my methods are a bit archaic in the sense that I like to make my sheet full size in paper space. ?ÿ That is 24x36, or 18x24 etc, and then set a 1 inch border inside of that for my viewport/drawing limits.?ÿ When I plot I use "Center on Page" and everything comes out peachy.
Now when I select the hp500 plotter, all the oversize arch sheets are gone, I can't get an honest 22x34, or 17x22 viewport to plot with a border 1 inch form the paper edges.
Must I modify all my views to be slightly less than a true 24x36 (22x34) ?
I have tried, numerous times, to create a custom paper size but I can't seem to get it to stick.
Properties>Settings>Custom Properties>Custom Paper Sizes> ?ÿ Create paper size 24x36, call it archd, then OK>Save (with new name configuration)>OK> Save As> OK>OK...?ÿ And??ÿ My paper size is not there........
Any help with this, or must I modify my ways? ?ÿ 🙂
Thank you,
Don
?ÿ
I've run into this before.?ÿ These days Intellicad and AutoCAD too for that matter rely on Windows for the printer drivers.?ÿ If you go to Windows System>Control Panel>Hardward and Sound>Devices and Printers>Right click on your Hp500>Printer Properties>Paper Standards, then check the boxes for the standards you want to include.?ÿ I'm betting that the box isn't currently checked for Oversize(Full bleed).?ÿ Once you flip the right switches in Windows the additional paper sizes should be available to Intellicad, AutoCAD, Adobe, etc.
You could also just use the standard Arch sizes, draw your view port 1" smaller all around (18x24 becomes 16x22) and set to center the plot and you should get the same result if I'm understanding your workflow correctly.
Thanks?ÿ Stephen, that was a big help.?ÿ I wasn't able to make the selections "stick" yet, but I was able to create custom paper sizes in the windows settings.?ÿ
Thanks again,
Don
