I have Carlson 2009/ w/ embedded autocad 2007 and I can't seem to get the TruView thing to install.
If you could convert a small 100K file for me, my email is:
thanks to Herb B!
this is the error I get after uploading their 1 gig TruView file, extracting and installing it.

All set! Thanks guys!

Be glad that it did not load. On my antique computer at the office, True View took over the display of my drawings when viewed under Windows Explorer.
All set! Thanks guys!
When you use the "open with" command. There should be a check box you can check to change the file association to the program you want and it will correct all future uses.
thanks to Herb B!
You can install the .NET framework before trying to install that software. I'm surprised they didn't include it in their installer package.
Microsoft .NET framework downloads here.

All set! Thanks guys!
Same happened to me. That really chapped me off! Got rid of true view, but the drive was renamed for ever.
thanks to Herb B!

I had to download over 1 gigabytes for something to convert a newer version of Autocad to an older version. Seems like a simple program of a few megs should be able to do the trick.
I remember being system manager of a Digital VAX 11-750 that had up to 8 simulations users during the 1980's. When I left the company in 1988, the combined disk storage was 1.2 gigs!
All set! Thanks guys!
There is, but Carlson is not an option on that list. When I try the others it defaults to LDD 2007 that I have on the same computer.
All set! Thanks guys!
That's strange.
You should be able to select "open with" and "choose program.." then "Browse". Find the program you want it to use and be sure you check the box "always use the selected program... before "Browse"
or computer possessed :'(
All set! Thanks guys!
That's exactly what I did, No Carlson on the list. "Other AuotoCad Option" opens LDD 2007. I have Carlson Survey with embedded AutoCad and do not see it, speciffically, on either listing.
