Having an issue with contour label masking when coming thru an xref.?ÿ They are properly masked in?ÿthe base surface drawing as shown this snip of?ÿa?ÿ50' scale?ÿview?ÿport.
?ÿIn my 50' scale plan drawing which?ÿxrefs the base surface drawing the masking does not cover the entire label.
The pita part is it was displaying fine most of last week, then suddenly Friday afternoon it starts doing this and persists this morning (with a submission due tomorrow).?ÿ I have 200-scale contour drawing also xref'ed in for?ÿthe?ÿ200'?ÿtabs and that are masking properly.
Has me and the other office staff baffled.?ÿ I have tried display order in the base drawing reloading the xref, even de & re attaching the drawing, still getting these overhangs.?ÿ
Any thoughts on why this is happening or work arounds are appreciated

In the base drawing, are you using masking from label style or contour line only?
Also maybe try referencing the surface in as a data shortcut instead of xref. You'd have to "re-apply" the style to the surface, and re-label it, but you would have more immediate control over its presentation.
Its contour only and I've been pushing for data short cuts for awhile, but....
