I am giving up on Bentley products. Opensite Designer is not intended for Land Surveyors.
I want to switch over to Autocad Civil 3d and I am looking for someone who can do a week or two of inhouse training in the software.
Any recommendations?

Where are you located? If you have a vendor nearby, they should be able to oblige.
Western New York
I've always found Bentley products to have head-banging-into-wall levels of user friendliness. Some of the least intuitive software I've ever used.
I am now having to run InRoads/ORD for deliverables for some of our bigger clients like DOTs...was hoping to avoid having to touch Bentley again, but c'est la vie.
No matter where you go to get your training, there are a TON of resources for C3D online. A Google search will solve easily 70% of any questions you may have.
Imaginit Technologies is our reseller, and they have pretty robust training options. Of course any training is dependent upon having a good instructor, so sometimes it can be a crap shoot. Take a look at their web site for training & support.
Civil 3d comes up short in the “software for surveyors” sweepstakes. The F2F is more than fair, as is the surfacing. After that you may be disappointed.
I don't get paid for saying it but a company out of Denver called ecad has a guy named Ken Martinez and he is pretty much the guru of a lot of cool stuff from field to finish he helped the city was Cruces and lots of other places and just did a seminar here in Colorado.
Civil 3d is the devil lol. I am trying to learn it myself. No training just this site and another software as a check. I am sure when i learn it i will be fine but geezers you have civil3d commands then autocad commands and just craziness.

Once you add Sincpac you've really got something.

Besides some actual training, preferably in person but the Imaginit Training is a good alternative, this is the best $ you will ever spend on a Civil3d product. The analogy I use is "it's like going from SD television to HD", you don't know what you're missing until you see (use) it.
The best training in Civil3D I ever had was from John Cooke at Civil Training LLC
