"Want" is probably asking to much. "Willing" is likely the best you find on a Friday afternoon. Send it to me and I'll give it a go so long as it's not C3D and chock full of xrefs. stephen at ward land surveying dot com
Sent you an email Stephen. If you're ever around central PA look me up I'll buy you a beer :-D:beer: Thanks again.
Download the free http://www.autodesk.com/products/dwg/viewers&apos ;">Autodesk TrueView and convert yourself whenever you need without waiting for others to do it for you.
TrueView will take over your entire graphics set-up!! If you are running AutoCAD, it's no problem, HOWEVER, if you are using Carlson, it creates SO MANY problems and it is very difficult to get rid of. It's just not worth the trouble if you are not an AutoDest hoe.

We use MicroStation around here. Even with the latest upgrades I have one helluva time opening some of the latest .dwgs that wind up in my lap. MS loves a dxf file, however. I have attempted to install TrueView on several of our machines and even my PC here at home. The error messages vary from machine to machine...but one thing is consistent...the installation fails. I finally gave up.
So install it on that machine you used to use that's still too good to discard. Doesn't everybody have at least one of those?
I use Dassault DraftSight. Apart from the occasional hiccup of asking me to re register it even though it is free it works great.

cptdent,
I use Truview, and Carlson 2008. I don't have any problems that I know of. Is this something that I need to consider before I upgrade?
Thanks!
Jimmy
I downloaded the truview, but after reading the other replies deleted it before installing.. And Stephen that file was what they intended me to get o.O. They could have saved me (and you) a boatload of time just emailing me coords for the five corners of the blasted thing on State Plane and I could have drawn my own box:pissed:.... But thank you again for taking time to help a guy in need.:hi5:
