Anybody here using Sketchup? I need to create a 3D model of a long street and was considering using a point cloud within Sketchup. There are a number of add-ons available for Sketchup to use point clouds and it seems easy enough to use Sketchup itself.
Anybody done something similar before? I could probably use Revit as well but the learning curve on Revit seems steeper.

I am not using it, but looked into getting into scanning a few months ago, the point cloud to sketch up looked a very good option, especially if you don't have time for the long lead time to get into revit.
