Is anything out there beside Adobe Pro and Bluebeam for managing PDF's and using electronic signatures for both Drawings and documents themselves. What do y'all use and like?

I use adobe but prefer bluebeam, but if I couldn't get bluebeam for some reason I'd probably use foxit. Not sure if foxit does signatures though.

DocuSign for signatures/seal, professional PDF version for plans and documents.

I am going to look up this FOXIT thing. I used adobe back in the service for many things. Most recently here working at companies it was Bluebeam. Again running into the same scenario as everything else. Just paying a subscription fee. The new normal I guess.

I have used Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Foxit. Foxit works fine with smaller files but will bog down on large files (think 100+ pages) . Also, if you go Foxit you are going full Chinese. Which means that it is very likely reverse engineered, at least, and very possibly pirated tech. Just sayin'.

@Norman_Oklahoma Thanks for that information on Foxit for sure. I do have a question. I am no power user of Bluebeam but I used it mostly with plans scaling profile elevations and also making dwg sheets so adding sheets and such.

Can Adobe handle those same things as I had only used Adobe for editing and more word type documents along with making forms etc.

I'm pretty sure Adobe can do that scaling and measuring thing, but as I don't use pdfs for that I can't say definitively. I insist on the CAD for that.

All of the above options are good but be sure you're in compliance with your state rules regarding electronic/digital signatures on your professional docs. Most require a much more advanced level of security than any of the options listed above provide by themselves. We use Identrust which is compatible to many pdf providers and is allowable by the states we work in.
