Just heard a few hours ago that Dearl passed away last Friday.

Dearl was a big player in the '70s around central Oklahoma. I bet at one time he had ten crews, or more. If you didn't work for Dearl, you sure knew a few that did.

Dearl was from the "cradle of modern surveying" down in Pollard, Ok. He was also a prolific contributor to the historic and geneology recordation of the area. He will surely be missed.

Sail on, Dearl and save us a good seat. We'll see you when we get there.
